Java Heap Space Limit Reached

Whenever I try to launch the game, the first screen shows up (where you choose what language you want to use, fullscreen or window, ect) and then when I try to properly launch the game I get a pop-up saying "Java heap space limit reached. Try closing some applications and browser tabs to free memory before starting the program again."

I've tried closing literally every other program that's running, I've tried restarting my computer, I've tried assigning more RAM to Java, but nothing works. I've been having this problem for like a month and a bit now.

Got the same problem dude. it´s a java problem. Daedelic wrote on their page, that they can´t do anything with this.

I have got a fix for the Java heap space problem. If you have a Windows 10 64bit system. Deinstall all Java versions on your PC. Then download the Java for "Windows Offline (64bit) from here: https://www.java.com/de/download/manual.jsp . After installing Java go into the folder where you installed the game and start the Edna.exe file. DON'T START IT FROM STEAM because the other Java Version (8 v. 191) will be installed automatically.
