Its 2023 and you can only choose to play as a man? Your wife just stays home and does dishes. I feel like that could and should be quickly fixed.

The ethnic diversity could use a touch up as well.

Well technically the wife works from home, but I do agree we should be able to chose a man or woman at the start maybe they will add it in.

The worst bigotry I've seen in video games has to be Star Wars Galaxies. I love the game.

In that game, there are many profession you can choose, from smuggler to commando and so on. There's also a profession called Image Designer. If you go in that profession, you can cut people's hair, you can remove tattoos, you can add tattoos. You can even make people younger, or older, literally change their age. You can even change species, you're a human and you want to be a wookie? They can do that.

But the thing they can't change.... genders

That's the thing about opinions, everyone is entitled to their own, and if you want people to at least understand and accept your opinion, you should do the same, that is what is called equality, giving everyone the same fair chance at voicing their opinions without any form of prejudice. If you can not at least accept that other people may have a differing opinion - even if it isn't the "morally right" one, then you are no different to the person you are trying to silence.

With that said, this game is in early access and is a "bit of fun" if you are getting offended that a game that is still in development hasn't catered for every single possibility maybe you should find a new hobby.

Who said they were offended lil bro? I must've missed it. I bet if you could only play as a woman, you would be on here with something to say. I don't mind opposing opinions, it is just when they're given unnecessarily that's the problem. Some people go out of their way to shove their opinions down everyone's throat, or they just love to argue. It's embarrassing. And was that bigotry or was it being thankful that this world has progressed in a direction better than his LDE mindset. You can go eat glass too buddy.

I am a cisgender male who has no issues playing games that only offer a cisgender female as a choice, like tomb raider. Playing a virtual female did not impact my being a male. I feel like if everything you watch or play has to include the 1% of the norm in just one tiny subset of other things left out, then the problem isn't exclusion but the constant need for validation.
