Input Issue? Constantly scrolling up...

Howdy, folks. Hope this is the right place to request help with a technical issue!

Just bought KH3 on PC, and I am trying to play on Mouse and Keyboard. However, in menus, after pressing "W," it keeps automatically scrolling up and I cannot do anything except Alt+F4. I have no controllers or joysticks or any other device plugged in that could be causing this. It is not the mouse itself, either, as this does not occur in any other game or program. Scroll wheel is good to go.

As a solution, I am forced to play with a gamepad. Interestingly, when I plug in and use an Xbox controller, I am able to navigate the issues with no problem. However, the issue persists with Mouse and Keyboard. Anyone else run into this issue?

I know most fans would suggest just playing with a controller anyhow, but I am just not a fan of them!

EDIT: Figured it out... Even though I had all joysticks and controllers unplugged, my "vJoy" program driver was being detected by the game. I uninstalled that driver via Add or Remove Programs, and the issue was subsequently resolved.

i never ran into this issue. is there anything on your keyboard that might cause a input response> like food stuck in it or a drink. maybe you re not noticing and you re accidentally hitting a key? sounds more like hardware issue then the game. but you can also use steam verify files to make sure

Finally figured it out...

Even though I had all joysticks and controllers unplugged, my "vJoy" program driver was being detected as a controller by the game. I uninstalled that driver via Add or Remove Programs, and the issue was subsequently resolved. Hope this helps!

Also had this issue and returned the game but would love to find out how to fix to play.

I can't find any controller like programs on my new pc windows 11. Never used a controller either. Has anyone else found another solution?

Would using a xbox controller just fix this issue?
