So even the Epic sale price costs more according to your numbers.
Epic has been known to literally put the master collection (all of it in a bundle) for $49.00 if you're paying attention to the right deals/events.
They want to charge you $41.39 for 1/3 of the collection here on steam while it's on sale.
The steam Price bundles literally only get better because of third party people like Humble and GMG. That still isn't looking good for what they did here on steam bud.
Even buying the collection on playstation is $39.99 off sale.
I'm just spitting facts here that steam users are in fact getting the worse deal right now. Especially since it comes with all the broken stuff they never patched up over the years.
Although i'd argue the bundle here still isn't too bad and probably the only justifiable purchase. But individual purchases are whack right now.
In the end though, if it's $49 for Epic or $56 for Steam... I'd always be willing to pay the $7 extra to not have it on Epic. =P
Tbh that's a fair critique of my post. I'm more so going all in on the individual pricing being a nightmare. Many will want to buy them slowly over time because of budget restraints etc. To which for those people the bundle isn't that great of a choice because with taxes and such it hits like a $73 purchase bundled. That's similar to a new game. Going to other websites as you pointed out will help a lot for sure. But you shouldn't need to either on older games like this.
And what am I? Chopped liver? Didn't read my response after? I'm joking. But any chance you can take a jab at EGS you should so it's kinda based for him to say this tbh.
the gmg price is good in my opinion, otherwise it feels like what the op wrote :D 68 bucks is still too much even for the entire collection considering how nearly all of the content is so insanely old.. still the 56 bucks on gmg feels like a fair price for steam day one, most likely gonna get it there (waiting for the june xp bonus pack to get it down to around 54 bucks though :P)
I'm also registered on GOG - which is why I don't own any of the Witcher games on Steam, as I got a massive discount on those there which I wouldn't get here on Steam. But also any other game I own there I do not buy again here.
It's obvious each platform has it's own price, so I don't see the problem regardless.
Who said anything about buying it in more than one place though? I was simply dropping comparisons about the sales. I didn't own the collection at all until I bought it on GMG today for steam.
