Do I *need* to buy the game through Steam or is redeeming a key from Humble Bundle etc. also valid?

Nope. GMG is $56 and Humble is apparently $58 at max bonus.

I think if a game is already discounted it'll go to 15% and not 20% (which I should be getting since I've been a subscriber for years) I might be wrong idk they change how they do things all the time so it's 41% off at $58.64 which is decent

This is actually a slight bummer I may have jumped on humble because at the time of looking I saw on GMG 3 games were discounted but the $100 bundle was not

Ngl I'm kind of irritated...I have the Dead of Night keyblade in my equipment inventory but every time I try to equip it, I keep defaulting to the Kingdom Key.
