Since story is weak (IMHO), can you recommend other games in series in terms of gameplay?

I've completed KH3 as my first KH and then went to watch few cutscene movies of previous games and..
Let's say. If you like this - good for you.
I didnt like story in KH3 and same I can say about what I've seen for some previous games
I like xenoblade, dragon quest, final fantasy
But boy i cant stand with KH characters, story, etc.

BUT
I do enjoy gameplay and disney locations/characters in KH3

So my question is. apart of KH3 + Re Mind which games I may be also interested in?

Check Trials of Mana. Nothing like KH but the gameplay may be interesting if you liked KH.

I consider 2FM to be the pinnacle of the series game play wise. Tons of tough super bosses to kill, Critical mode, etc.

Final Fantasy 16 is also coming to PC sometime this year too and it's very similar to KH.

KH2 is the peak, yet they keep ruining KH since 3 with less and less worlds and more and more nothingness in them.

ff16 is a pile of trash
Its literally the worst ff I ever played and one of the most boring AAA games I played ever
I can spend hours discussing what exactly bad there and like few seconds on what was good
Even KH 3 compared to FF 16 is a masterpiece of AAA industry (and as it is not you can get what I m trying to say here)

And yes, I was asking 'bout specifically other KH games, not similar games
So yeah, will try previous for few hours at least, I guess

I dont wanna be that guy but you probably ruined the experience going right to 3. Certain games and plots get ruined if you do that type of stuff. And 3 is a hot topic too you either hate or love it when it comes to the story/gameplay. Based on what you like some solid series are the legend of heroes, Persona and shin megami tensei

As I said, KH3 gameplay wise was pretty decent from what I originally expected (close to nothing tbh)
Besides, from trailers already I understood that I should not pay attention to story (and was right)

Will just check all games anyway, since pack was pretty cheap (in compare with recent $120 gaming from ubisoft lol)
