My Copy of KH3 Wont Run On 3060 12gb Graphics Card
I just updated my graphics card this weekend from a 1050 ti to an 3060. KH3 could not run on my old graphics card to save its life, every single time I ran it, the game would crash once the Pixar logo comes on. Now that I got this new graphics card, It still crashes before the game menu even comes on, how can I get this game to run? Is there anything else that I need to upgrade? My PC's specs are the following

-Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor, 3.70 GHz
-Ram: 48.0 Gb
-Power Supply: EVGA - GQ Series 850W ATX12V/ EPS12V 80 Plus Gold Modular
-Graphics Card: ASUS - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Dual Overclock 12GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card.
-Motherboard: MSI - B550 GAMING PLUS (Socket AM4) AMD B550 ATX DDR4 Motherboard

Thanks in advance

I cant say with absolute certainty, but its likely to be the mobo or CPU, possibly both.

I know they fixed the issues the game had with the video cards, at least to some degree. Im not sure if they ever addressed the mobo/cpu issue though.

AMD for whatever reason, struggles with this game, and has since it came to PC for the most part. Being that you changed the gfx card, it seems that its likely more the case to be that.

If you havent yet, try uninstalling the game, and reinstall it. There might be some sort of residual carry over from the previous card that the game is reading in the setting somewhere.

The worst part about the issues this game has, is that there is no known solution really. Nobody can directly say what is or isnt causing this issue. Some Intel CPUs also have big issues with this. So, its kind of a gamble if you buy this game and it works.

I know this is probably more obvious now, but the minimum GFX to run this game is a 970 and the recommended is a 1070. Your 1050ti should have been just fine and was most probably not the reason you were having issues. Like the other comment said, I would look around and see if It's an issue with your CPU. This game is rather old now since it came out in 2019, so something weird is definitely going on in your case if It isn't the CPU.
