When I was doing pro codes, this is the ONE FIGHT, I had to turn them off for, except 1, I kept zero defense on.
Due to the nature of the fight, you will always be getting hit from behind, which is the most frustrating part. You get a good lock on Young Xehanort, only to have red beam field jerkwad, come in and bounce you off.
Best advice I can give, is to try and not combo like you normally would, and focus on hit and run tactics. It takes a bit longer, but is more reliable than trying to pull out combos.
My bad, misread the post. The fights you meant were 2 of the data fights. Disregard my post. As Protoman said, those fights are designed to be punishing. Even more so if you are on critical, because ONE slip, and you are screwed.
