When I start the game, it says Fatal error and crashes.

A symptom has been confirmed that when launching KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC), a Fatal error message appears and the game crashes.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I've tried this, but most of the time it still crashes. Also tried deleting the save file AND reinstalling the game, but that doesn't work either.

I would assume you've at least tested without, but are you playing with mods? If you are there's a decent chance one of said mods are causing issues with the Steam Deck update.
To fix this, simply delete files ending with _0_P.pak in your Paks folder, and you can also download this mod that contains the patch changes but will still work:
