Weird dialogue bug in halloween town

So I've been having a pretty smooth experience with kingdom hearts 1 but when I got to halloween town the subtitles got bugged and started listing off different exits instead of the words being spoken (example: World Exit, Graveyard) and while this was annoying I saw it was affecting dialogue boxes too so I could not tell what characters were saying when the dialogue was not spoken.

By the way, that video is 7 years old, so it's not related to the PC games, it's a glitch in the original game.
