Kingdom Hearts 1 - final mix Save Data files corrupt issue.

Looking for help, i was 3 days in and my save file corrupted. Any solutions or fixes? I've tried almost everything. from scanning my PC to resolve the corrupted files but nothing still i get a white screen telling me "Save Data is corrupt. Failed to load game data." NEEP HELP

Unfortunately not much you can do but start over.

If you have an AMD gpu your pretty much in the same boat as everyone else till the developer does something. I have no ability to save and using the menu will cause the game to crash and saving instantly shows corrupt save data even if no save data exists. Actually some Nvidia users are reporting the same on the 4000 series so might be something extra.

cant you delete save data and redownload from steam cloud to earlier?

Not a solution but maybe a precoaution?

How about using powershell script to backup savegame files?
Run the script to make 3 backup every 15 min and save often.

I am still having trouble, imma have to wait until the developers fix it. Maybe in a next update.

I am in the same exact boat.
I even tried downloading onto another PC that does not use an AMD GPU and it still says save file is corrupted.

I am hoping that it did not upload that to the cloud and has caused further issues...

Have played for 4 hours, saved and logged. Turned on again and not being able to Load or Save a new game. GPU 3070TI, AMD Ryzen 7 5800x. Reinstalled it on a different drive and still doesn't work.

Fr, like i couldnt even save on a new game, i think my whole kingdom hearts 1 got corrupted itself, so we've just gotta sit and wait for a patch. Sadly theres no solution.

So I have been able to figure out if you get that error you do have to start over as far as I can tell. But there is the problem that if you start over and try to save you still get this error. So in order to start over you need to go to file Explorer > my documents and delete the kingdom hearts folder. This will remove the save file. I also have gone into steam and turned off upload to cloud servers for kh and have turned vsync off. Im playing on ayaneo kun with 7840u and so far this has seemed to help. No crashing I can save and I can play at 60fps. I have made it to wonderland so far no problem after doing this.

I played for a bit last night, go to Traverse town, saved, and when I launched, there was no save file to be found?

Hello? Now I do have KH remix 1.5 2.5 installed on D drive, but apparently my save file is in my C Drive, perhaps thats why it cant seem to find it? Or is there a way to solve this by moving the save file to my D drive?
