I've never played any kingdom hearts and i'd like to know the entire story, is this the correct game to start?

Yes this includes the first and second mainline game and the other games that add to that experience

Yes, it is but if you are considering getting into the series I would highly Recommend purchasingh the bundle as the price cant bbe beat

start from top to bottom. KH1, CoM, 2, and bbs are games, sadly 358/2 days and re coded are movies instead of the games. the other collection has the other games you'll want which takes place after kh2, and leads up to kh3. also BBS takes place just before kh1.

1.5 is the first game and the game set between the first game and the second game. Hence, 1.5.

2.5 is the same thing but with the second game and third.

If you want to continue playing the series after that then you'd have to get the other two KH packages on Steam and I'll give you the order for that
