About streaming.
Glancing at the stream section was vague and confusing.

Can anyone give me some idea of what's -actually- allowed?

The gist I got was that it's entirely fine unless one is "using it solely to provide music" but where is that line drawn? I plan on playing the games in it's entirety not 'providing music'

I have already gotten a vod mute from the intro. Do I need to mute things myself? If so what needs to be proactively muted? And what if there's some emergency that I need to go, quickly. would that count for penalization?

What makes this worse is the link provided in the settings menu doesn't even take you to a dedicated page, but, instead to a 'buy' page that is outdated and primarily speaks of Playstation terms and conditions for 2.8 and kh3. Nothing is said for 1.5/2.5 and if there was it wasn't easily found.

This whole thing is needlessly convoluted and an increasing deterrent from trying to stream said game.

disney is super aggressive when it comes to copywright stuff. basically its telling you not to stream the game as essentially a disney owned music or footage broadcast (IE make your own disney radio). If youre playing the game your fine. If you bought the game they literally can't sue you for streaming it (in the US anyway). Just dont play Frozen's let it go on repeat for 10 hours and youre good.

I appreciate the response.

The wording of it seemed a bit vague(especially the 2.8 rules). It felt like, to me, like it was basically "you can play the game, but, if for whatever reason we disagree with you, we're pushing legal action".

then there's the bit about needing to show copyrights? The game it'self does that. Or is that not good enough?

Its meant to be a standard vague disclaimer meant to allow them to push against things they dont like. The chances of you attracting the wrath of disney's lawyers without going way out of your way to attract em is pretty slim. As I said unless youre abusing the game to get around having to buy other disney products (streaming just the music, etc) or shouting N-words and stuff while streaming disney has better things to do.

Yeeesh. Streamed for six hours and almost the entire vod was muted.

Apparently I could appeal anything non-disney, but, it's a toss up.

This is honestly not worth the trouble with the game's ost even being claimed.

Kind of bitter taste....
