What level do you prefer to leave Destiny Islands?

I usually don't leave until I beat Riku 99 times for those 99 potions. Then I'll usually parry farm with Tidus until level 20. I don't know why I like grinding so much?

Do ya'll do this too?

I just rush through it because you can get much better and faster gains through Gizmo Shop. You can probably buy 99 potions faster that way too. And you're only advancing slightly in the game. But even then I don't grind much, just enough to get a couple protect chains and move on. Grinding is more lucrative later. No need for it so early. But if that's how you like to play it's all good :)

Fair enough, I don't really care about the potions all too much. But there's something about beating up Riku 99 times then winning the race against him for 100-0 wins/losses to be extremely satisfying.

You get Scan at level 15 with the staff. Lv9 Scan is the sword.

I’m like you. But I do grinding on destiny island because I know Leon is waiting at traverse town :)

Even if you are allowed to lose on the Leon fight, I'll usually reload the game if I don't 'win' it. I get you.

Enough to get an edge in Traverse, but not enough to completely drain me of the will to live.

Usually just parry farm Tidus until 15, progress till the heartless show up and just farm them on the beach till around 20-25 on proud. Makes going through wonderland less of an annoyance.
