Here come all the git gud comments. Newcomer to the series and that vine swinging is some of the jankiest and slipperiest platforming I've ever experienced in a game. In other games, when you're flying towards an object you can latch onto, you'll either automatically cling to it or you'll have to press a button. Instead, not only do you not cling to the vines, but you'll get launched at a high speed in an unintended trajectory. What made me even more frustrated was learning that the vine swinging wasn't required for progression. AHAHAHAHAHAHA why

Not all of them have prompts. If they did then it wouldn't be as bad. As I said the ones that don't you can jump towards them and get slapped in the face and Sora will still not grab them, It's Jank and should have been fixed. There's no get Gud about it. It's just jank.

Yeah fortunately you only need to do it for the Dalmation. Would absolutely suck if you needed to do it to get to the Treetops.

Yeah there's times when the prompts just... don't appear. It's pretty annoying. Id say it works properly for me like 90% of the time though.

If you get slapped you don´t have consent so don´t grab at them.

At the start of the level from the treehouse jump off to the left and get the tunnel save point. Abuse using that and the gummy ship to go back to it to avoid the vines. At some point it'll be blocked. Go to the vines way point, talk to the mini game plant right next to it and start any mini game. Hit pause and cancel it to be teleported to the other side of the vines, climb the vine near by to get there. With that in mind you can avoid most of the shenanigans.

Not all of them have prompts. So despite it being easy it doesn't mean it isn't jank and annoying.

The only way to fix deep jungle is to remove that backtrack heavy, boring slog from the game and remake it entirely
