It retains most of it's charm and I refuse to devalue how amazing it must have been on release day to see the Disney worlds come alive like this. But hot damn, so many questionable design choices and by far the least fun worlds to play through in the series for me.
As for mt favorite? It ain't playable.
356 days. This was my favorite game on the NDS back in the days and the mission mode was so fun.
But objectively speaking, my favorite is a tie between KH2 and BBS.
It is a polarized entry in the series, but I personally had SO MUCH fun with it.
I have a tight budget this month so I loaded it up on my jailbroken 2DS XL, but I will buy a copy again soon.
It's still an absolute joy to play for me..Also.. The entire Xion arc really got to me back in the days.
Coded is by far the worst canon entry in the franchise. It was cool seeing a 3D Kingdom Hearts game on a handheld device at the time, but it's not very fun, and the story is entirely filler.
Of those, I'd say KH1 is least favorite and KH2 is most favorite.
