Can I delete the "movies" to save up space?

The thing pirated versions of this release did well was the fact they provided the user the option to keep specific games... so if you only wanted KH2, you could only install that. But the Steam version downloads the whole package. Could I just delete stuff off the main folder?

You can but Steam may or may not attempt to verify your install files and redownload anything that is missing at some point.

I don't understand why this is an issue? What is up with all these posts demanding to be able to install one game at a time. What is even the issue here?

The PS4 version allows the player to install which game(s) that they want. This is not the case for the PC version. For example, Halo Master Chief Collection allows you to install the base game and then install the other titles as DLC.

With games these days taking a ♥♥♥♥ ton of space, it would be nice to install individual games on a multi game collections.

The PS4 literally has a launcher with everything already installed and you select the game you want to play just like here. Stop lying.

If you are in such a dire need of space that a mere 60 something GB is too much to handle, get a bigger storage capacity.

Because I'm not even 60% done downloading the damn game and it's killing my internet for other things as I fail to download it. I started it right away when it came out and won't be able to play a single game because of it. Even though I just want to play KH1 right now.

Unreasonable storage requirements have been a reoccurring complaint. It's reached a point that people have formed a conspiracy theory that publishers are trying to prevent you from installing other games to distract you from their own releases (personally, I think it's bs).

Why should people install 80gb worth of kh if they only need one game installed? Not even just to only play one game, it can also be done to cycle through the games, only installing the one you're currently playing then only installing the next one as you're about to finish the previous one.

There's also the fact that some people have really slow internet and being able to only install the games they want let's them play much sooner.

This is hardly an unreasonable ask, Halo Master Chief Collection let's you individually install the campaigns and multiplayers of every game. Why not KH?

Because Halo was designed to be this way to begin with.
KH's collections have been around since the PS3 days and were always designed to be in one package. And 80 GBs isn't 'unreasonable'. That's absurd.
CoD's next game being 300 GBs IS unreasonable.

The answer is quite simple. To be able to do this they'd have to offer their own download space with storage capacity and more since Steam can only handle full download or none at all. Steam's not build for Collections. Which would mean ongoing costs for a small amount of players since most have more than enough storage. The collection was like 30GB download. Which is not even close to any new game so complaining about that is kinda stupid as well.

the download was around 70gb.
they could handle it through the dlc system, if they wanted too
