Random Crashes.

Hello all ! I hope you guys have been enjoying the Steam release to a very beloved franchise that is Kingdom Hearts. I’m creating this discussion for some help if possible.

I’ve just started playing Kingdom Hearts 1 yesterday. I noticed that while the game transitions from gameplay to cutscene (and vice-versa) , there’s a chance that the game will unfortunately crash. It has happened to me a few more times earlier today and I was wondering if anyone knows a way to fix this issue.

I have an NVIDIA RTX 3060 and an 11th generation i7 , so I don’t think my specs are at fault here (but I could be completely wrong as I’ve no clue what could be the cause for the game crashing here and there).

If anyone could lend a hand , I would very much appreciate it.

what worked for me was updating the nvidia drivers to the latest version. i have an rtx 4060 myself. hopefully this works for you too.

i did just that and it still crashed for me.

the only thing i still got then is try to copy my settings with setting the fps at 60 and turning the refresh rate off if that doesn't help then i'm afraid i don't know anything else that can possibly fix it

Yeah it's just randomly crashing every so often here as well
So far it's just during a transition to something like going to another room or a cutscene

from what i understand setting your fps to more than 60, can cause it to crash for the older games. also turning refresh rate off seems to help.
