For me the cut scenes drop to 14fps for no reason. While in game it's fine however if I want to play at my monitors refresh rate (144htz) the game will run at that frame rate but the gameplay is tied to the frame rate. So everything is really fast moving. A crappy port go figure.

Ah figured it out, just set the frame rate to 30. Resolution doesn't matter. Lazy port.

Im not going to run the game on 30 FPS, ps4 pro version ran pretty consistently 60 FPS, cut-scenes was locked at 30 FPS which is not a problem but the audio desych is. Expected the game to run a consistent 60 FPS at least during gameplay and i am wondering if there is anyway to make it do so.

The cut scenes are tied to 30fps unfortunately, maybe a mod could fix that? I turned my refresh rate off and set the frame rate to 60. No audio de-sync here (so far)

running the game at 60-120fps before on the island the problems would come and go
audio wise and fps wise
restarting the game was one fix, after a graphics driver update seems it acted up more
after the island everything seems better off

becareful with screenshots they get backed up and lead to a low fps im seeing
if too many get backed up itll lead to 1fps till it recovers and steam finishes going thru them

no sound after first cut scene not playing on steam deck is this a known issue

@meyeramanda2. I dont know anything other than audio issues with desynch during cutscenes and the massive slowdown on destiny island. i myself are playing on pc so maybe check forums for people playing on steam deck.

I disabled the "Refresh rate (Google Translate)" in the settings, helped immediatly.

EDIT: "Frame Sync"

@ChrisG😎 you turned refresh rate off?, what did it do. did it help with cutscenes audio desync and or slowdown during destiny island ?
TheOneManFoxOffice Jun 14, 2024 @ 10:07am
Initially, the frame rate was stuttering for me, but I went into NVidia and have it go through my 3080 TI instead of my CPU and it now works fine. Why it defaulted initially to my CPU, I will never know.

@TheOneManFoxOffice never had a problem with stuttering, only slowdown on destiny island and audio desync during cutscenes. my nvidia control panel is setup correctly, can you guide me through what you did ?

Thanks alot to @Moldy Cheese and ChrisG😎, turning off "refresh rate" seem to have fixed atleast the problem with audio desynch in cutscenes. so far the gameplay runs 60 FPS, i will test further and post further problems if any.

Turning off "refresh rate" seem to have fixed both the audio desynch and the slowdowns i experienced during cutscenes and gameplay during "destiny islands"
For anyone wanting the relevant system info:
Operating System: Windows 11 Home
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700F (28 CPUs), ~2.1GHz
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)
If anyone want more information to troubleshoot, let me know what specific you need.
For me turning off "Refresh rate" like @Moldy Cheese and @ChrisG😎 suggested has so far lead to a very consistent 60 FPS gameplay and 30 FPS cinematic.
