Why 70 for a bundle of 10+ year old games?
I love KH but why have the bundle at 70 on sale but 100 not on sale? i understand that KH 3 came out like 5 or 6 years ago.....also if you have a playstation you can play all 3 for 15 bucks and you dont need to succumb to this cash grab....good game just bad pricing

damn why are seven games and three movies worth 70 bucks >:(

bro, you should see some of the prices for 30 or even 40 year old games here on steam. they're not 60, but they aren't 0 either. If you buy the game on sale you're paying about 10 bucks for each, which for KH3 which is still being sold around full price (here on steam, games stay at full price and go on sale regularly, that's the idea here!) it's a good deal. would you prefer each game be sold individually and for you to pay 10-30 bucks for each and end up paying way more than you would for them bundled together?

We had these same conversations in the community years ago when they released on Epic. The pricing was WAY worse if you could believe it. All the games together were 160 bucks, yes even on day one. 60 bucks is debatably worth it for 1.5+2.5 and surely for KH3 was worth 60 bucks back when it was only a year old or so. The point is that it depends on what you have available to you and how much you're willing to spend for it.

I, for one, don't own a playstation, nor have I since the PS2! Absolutely nothing stopping you playing KH on there if you prefer, you have the option, you can make these decisions without pretending everyone has the same considerations as you.

Consumers, man. Buy it or don't, who cares.
Its called pointing out when companies are abusing their consumers and people are too blind by nolsogia and love......i love KH but not shelling out 70 bucks for a game i already paid full retail back in the day......Also if the price is so good why less than 10k on the game? and cant use Epic since alot of people dont trust that launcher

Game got shadow released on steam. I found out about this release literally on twitter. It was on some random post that had like no engagement. Otherwise I would not have found out until probably day of release and that's if I checked the store which I don't do everyday. It's also a single player game of a series that while is beloved by many old school/hardcore gamers most new age and casual gamers aren't going to give a crap their tik tok brains need generic MP rot or a trashy ubisoft collectathon. If you have enough time to break balls about this you should know the current state of gaming c'mon man. The current numbers are actually good if anything.

As for your logic of not shelling 70 bucks for a game you paid retail for actually is false if you are speaking about the original ps2 releases for these games. They were about 50 bucks each so go ahead and do the math per game if you would like to do so (if you account for inflation which I won't just to be nice than the games were actually almost 80 dollars each). You would be getting a deal as now your paying 10 dollars for a superior remastered version of the game and its the final mix version too instead of the inferior original ps2 variant. Now you can argue "Oh I'm talking about these specific ports" Well on PS the all in one package is basically everything we have here except Re-Mind for 100 dollars (currently on sale for 40 bucks on psn) that dlc alone is currently 30 dollars so wow its actually more money on psn as once that sale expires it will exceed the full price on steam with the two sales going on they are very similar. I'm not going to bother doing math for the epic prices as we all know they were truly disgusting at release much higher than either of the other two store fronts.

SE doesn't have to go oh he has it on PS lets give him a discount. Any time a game has a port or remaster and they do a deal its for the same platform (or a generational upgrade). Those free copies for a remaster like bioshock now that makes sense and happened if you had copies on steam already not on completely different ecosystem like ps3. That was also a different era of gaming. A lot of these upgrades are now patches and not a re release of a title (like fallout 4) Nobody told you to go buy the collection wherever you did when you had interest in a PC copy. I have a ps5 and I buy no more sony games on it. You wanna know why? Because eventually the titles will come to PC and not only will I run it better but I will pay less than it was on PSN. You are literally getting upset because you got this on a different platform and now you want it here too for chump change because you didn't have patience. It's totally fine if you want to wait for it to drop further because it will eventually. That is very logical I've done that for many games that I had owned on console and now wanted on PC. But it is not logical to call people blind at this pricing when its actually pretty fair when you look at the ratio of content to pricing. You are the one that is blinded because you're letting a past purchase that has nothing to do with steam actually warp your mindset on this. Had these games existed on steam previously you would actually have a leg to stand on. But they don't so neither do you.

$70 for like 5-6 games and then movies is more than worth the price. Especially when it'll take you hundreds of hours to complete.

Well, I don't think the modding scene will be that relevant for these old games.

Stick to not weighing your opinion in on subjects in the future. You couldn't be more wrong with this statement. Especially if you tried doing remotely any sort of research on the modding scene.

People have been modding the original KH1 and 2 games since the PS2 days. It only became more prevalent when tech got better and the Remix games came out.

Anything more you have to say on the internet is automatically going to be discredited due to your sheer lack of awareness and knowledge. You just killed your credibility with the drop of a hat.

I've seen nothing on gamebanana or nexus for the games so far, aside from a few small time KH3 mods. Which I wasn't even talking about KH3 and instead talking about the older collections. And the PC version has been out for a while on the PC considering the EGS release.

Maybe time will prove you right. I doubt it though. This is one of those cases of fractured modding communities that don't seem to be large on any site meanwhile the console versions of moding will ironically pull larger numbers despite being less mod friendly. Same thing happened with Persona games that came to the PC.

The modding communities for persona titles on PC have far surpassed the console variants quite some time ago.

Bruh this is starting to get annoying. All I'm seeing is people complaining about the price. The bundle is still much cheaper than what most people were expecting. If you don't want to pay, just go ahead and emulate them and make yourself happy. I know these games are old but it's not like they're short games. You're talking about some lengthy action RPGs and what about 3 or 4 movies.

Heck look at Dark souls 3, that game can be considered old at this point. I was surprised after all these years it's still going for $60 here. In fact it's $85 with all the dlc and that's just for one game.

Because it's not just 3 games as you're falsely claiming... it's 7 games and 3 cutscene movies
All I see is 1.5 and 2.5 remix (been out since the PS3 days). 2.8 is just an extra to help bridge the gap between 2 and 3. while 3 is the newest one with the DLC but still doesnt justify these games to be 100 dollars for the bundle when you can get a PS plus sub and play them for way cheaper. This is price anchoring but hey enjoy your overpriced game. once this bundle is under 50 bucks you might see over 10k players on

KH1; Re:CoM; KH2 and BBS in KH HD 1.5+2.5
DDD and Fragmented in 2.8
and KH3, that's a total of 7 games as far as math goes.

I don't really think 70€ for 7 games with high replay value is anywhere near overpriced, they can be old sure, but that shouldn't detract from the fact that some of these are better games than most AAA 60€ games from recent times.

Not everyone owns a PlayStation, and most of us sure as hell ain't gonna buy a PS for a few hundred dollars to be able to save some money on the game with PS Plus.
Also, unless you are no life-ing the hell out of the collection, there is no way you aren't gonna spend close if not more money just on PS Plus subscriptions, which I guess depend on where you live, but in my country is 17€ per month, in 4 months you will spend the money it would cost you to buy the game.

Would be worth it if the games actually worked right. Game save got corrupted on my Legion Go and forgot to turn of the save game sync so now can't save the first game on my Steam Deck because says the file is currupt but no option to delete it and can't even find the file for it. Guess these games have all the problems Epic has. Probably will return.
theonlyblad3 14. juni 2024 kl. 12.21
There are like 6-7 past games and also the newest game and it's DLC. Retail it goes for $170 and it is on sale from $68.99, which is 31% off (a inside joke for Organization XIII but backwards).
------
These games hold up to this day and have tons of replayability. Why are you complaining about it??? It is simple, don't buy it. Some of us have been waiting for it to come out on Steam so we didn't have to buy it on Epic.
------
Plus some of us have visual issues playing games at 30fps so they play them on PC.

Epic work fine.
Steam launch is with a good discount.
You want to pay less, you wait until summer 2025. it's always like that with Steam for ALL game: at least 1 year minimum to get huge discount.

Stop complaining: i bought 4 copy of KH 3 over the years (ps4 version, ps4 Japanese version, Epic and now Steam) same for the kh1 and 2 compilation (ps3 ,ps4, Epic and Steam) most at full price.

do i need to do a topic to complain about how much i spent for KH Franchise ?

no .

Over 6 games for $70. Old SNES Earthbound game was $45 and now sells over $130 - $250. Game is way older than 10 years. My point, things are worth what people are willing to spend. I think its fair compared to other things.
Dzaka 14. juni 2024 kl. 16.30
because it's 2 collections of games. and 1 game with it's integral dlc. you enjoy your clown emogi's btw.. that's all you were after
Mustachious 14. juni 2024 kl. 16.31
Earthbound goes for that low? TBH I expected it to be higher. I'm not really into retro collecting anymore (in the PS3 era you could get old games pretty easily, but now everything is ridiculous) so IDK what is normal anymore though.
