Fixed the mouse only working sometimes by initiating the scroll lock with an on-screen keyboard. Now the mouse works pretty much always.
Mouse doesn't work
Controller doesn't work
I found a fix for my issue but I don't know if it will fix controllers. If you have a controller, would you mind trying the fix?
this sounds like a case of skill issue
I believe I'm having a similar, if not the same issue. The cursor is only showing up in part of my window, typically the outside, and disappearing toward the center of the screen. I'd like to try your fix of the scroll lock with the on-screen keyboard, but I'm not sure what that is. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
If you have Windows, you type on screen keyboard in the search bar and open up the program. (Should be installed by default)
Alternatively, if you have a regular 100% keyboard, just use the scroll lock on the physical board.
The game I was playing was KH1 but I started on Chain of Memories and it has the same problem all over again. Chain of Memories was more or less improved by playing in smaller separate window. If played in fullscreen, it would open random applications, pictures, music, etc behind the game display. Computer seemed to be confused and thought I was sitting at desktop screen.
It seems like my fixing KH1 was a fluke, as the other games have similar issues but are harder to fix.
