1: you don't need any external accounts you launch through steam and that's it.
The original games 1.5/ 2.5 seems to have issues with crashing, people have spoken about things to mitigate this but it seems to be a problem since epic games but epic in all the glory didn't allow user feedback so it seems devs only noticed now and are actively working on it.
My current playthrough of 3, I have all bells and whistles set to max, forced the game in boderless windowed so I can have room on my desktop for something else and as a result injected hdr into the game through reshade everything runs and looks beautiful so far.
Only 4 hours in though.
Hope what little information I could provide helps.
Ps, the ultrawide hack for epic games doesn't work on steam neither does most mods seems they have changed basic things so new hex hacks needs to be found by someone smarter than me ^_^
1: no account needed
2: yes and in REALITY 30 fps is the stable one (like REALLY) 60 fps is the smoothnest it's true but not stable (you will crash for sure at some points and several clearly with differents effects: can be partial blackscreen with HUD or soflock freezing screen etc
3don't know for this one
4: ONLY KH2 Final mix yes but it's a bug also since the original ps3/ ps4 port (same with the infmaous fps problem)
5: depend on your hardware and other setting
Personally i strongly advertise to not go beyond 30 for for all games witch are not directly on UE4 engine. Yes it won't be smooth it's true but at least no crashs. If you go at 60 fps well be prepared to restart OFTEN and games had no auto save so... you will have to pray after a boss or not doing to much things between some save points.
With Nvidia cards no problem or igpu from Intel or AMD
ONLY AMD RNDA3 architecture put troubles for Kingdom hearts , basically ALL the RX 7000 line and also their apu counterparts based on RNDA3 (steam deck is safe IF you don't go above 30 fps)
ONLY KH3 can be played at 60 fps and above without crashes and yet except for some battles where 60 fps is needed (same engine physic related)
Ah yes and forget the false 120 fps it's nterpolated one but very badly.
