Kh1 looks oddly choppy in motion
I have frame rate unlocked with Vync on (so I get 144fps), but when I start to move the game looks kind of weird. Like the camera movement is locked to 60fps or something. It's hard to explain I don't think it's screen tearing or anything like that.

Put the monitor refresh rate on 60hz and in-game framerate on 60fps to make it run smooth. Try the refresh setting in-game off or on. See for yourself what works best for you.

This game doesn't like framerates above 60fps. 120fps and 144fps are less smooth and aren't stable.

That actually worked. Do I have to go into windows display settings and change it every time? I have a freesync monitor but it doesn't seem to change the refresh rate when i set fps to 60fps.

As my neighbour said but the games doesn't like VRR for make it simple (so yes g synch and freesynch must disable)

Or at least put the v synch at half rate or fixed refresh rate (Nvidia control panel if you have an Nvidia card)

I strongly advertise 30 fps, in reality you will come to crash if you go above 30 fps

Games are known for having the same problems that the original hd port from the ps3 (witch was running rightly at 60 fps mandatory witch lead to problems)

ONLY KH3 can be play at 60 fps and above without problem , except some battles at 12 fps (for engine physics reasons as always with high fps count)

I won't be surprise to heard that with high fps, damage is much highter for old titles.

But i can confirm you tha yes 30 fps is the best for stability (not single crash i mean it, no blackscreen in Monstro Pinocchio world or even underground Caves of Wonder, no freeze or other thing even in Tarzan world , you can open all the chests without troubles

60 fps is the best for smoothnest but not stable (not the most stable i mean)

120fps is to forget really it's interpolated frame but badly.

I think that maybe a trick you be to use the famous framgen lossless

Say true 30 fps native and false good framepacing 60 but the game will just handle his stability to his internal 30 fps.

Specially when the games have not auto save meaning you have to pray at 60 fps and above, but you will have crash for 100% sure out of nowhere.
