$68 (the price where I'm at), which is discounted till the 27th is pretty fair. Compared to Epic who wants what? $120 outright unless it goes on sale again I'd say. Bear in mind, steam could have been jerks and said: "120 dollarydoos because ♥♥♥♥ you, you'll pay it you nerd!". Price as it is now is still better than actually trying to get the games from online resellers selling the physical ones.
They're selling up to 2022 year old games that have been out as remasters on consoles since 2017 - in fact I paid for all of the games on PS4 for less than $50 in 2019, and they've all have been on PC since 2021; the games themselves have been listed for 60% off as recently as six months ago on Epic Games Store, and the PC versions's development was funded by Epic Games in exchange for their timed exclusivity deal, so every dollar they make after taxes and Steam's cut is pure profit.
Saying $70 is generous for seven year old remasters of 1-2 decade old games that have already been discounted for less is some terrible mental gymnastics.
The lengths people go to defend multi-billion dollar corporations that boast yearly record profits really explains why the gaming industry is in the state it's in.
7* 10 = 70. 68 from 70 is really a big difference . also what’s with the hostility , i don’t get why people get so angry over someone’s complaint about a game . you should take a break from steam
blocked.
I actually have to correct myself, I checked my purchase receipts and I did in fact pay $65 for the games; $15 ea for 1.5+25Hd and HD 2.8 for physical new copies from the official Best Buy store on Ebay, and $35 for KH3 on Amazon a couple weeks later- fifteen more, but still less than today's MSRP for the same games.
Not only the same games, but the same games that are now five years older, have been on the platform for longer then they'd been on the PS4 for that price, while also costing virtually nothing to produce, since the playstation copies were physical.
If you want to make a difference, don't buy the product. It's that simple.
