Xbox Controller not working properly?

So anyone else had the problem that your controller doesnt work properly? All my buttons are either switched or with no function. I tried remapping everything via steam but to no avail.

Any got a fix for that?

Been trying a bunch of things I've found and none of them have worked. Switch controller didn't work either and emulating a different controller didn't work as well. Might just be a random driver that's interfering with the game.

Huummit depend is it an official Xbox one serie x controller or another brand ?

Same for the internal driver of the controller is it updated or not ? (xbox app on Windows for that)

I don't remember have had back in the time problem with kh1 for that (using an original xbox one serie x controller from Microsoft updated)

I have an official controller. I used it earlier today just fine, so it's down to KH being weird.

Did you use the steam input ? i know that it fixed some games knows for having trouble with controller (i mean if not xbox 360 )

As original Resident eil 4 by ex (the one from 2005 it's mandatory otherwise yes it behave like really funny) in this oen if you don't use steam input ypu will have trouble

Sadly i can't test because i don't own yet the steam version ( i have try for green man gaming but out of stock so i will wait a bit more)

I've had similar problems in other games and enabling Steam Input fixed them, so it's worth a try.

Right now, I'm having stick drift on my right stick and the game constantly registers it as holding up. When I play other games on Steam, it's fine? Anyone else run into this one yet?

Oh interesting. Did you try disabling Steam input maybe? But it sounds like it is indeed a problem with the game from what everyone is saying.

Yes and all that does is disable my controller completely.

When I try to manually change the controls in-game, it won't recognise Right stick up or left either.

Had to go under properties then controller and I had to enable steam input and it worked for me after that.
