It’s not. And are you REALLY complaining about 3 for supposedly having that when BBS factually has it?
Thunder/Fire Raid, Mine Square, invincibility when dodging as 2/3 characters…….
This has to be bait
I think for a lot of them, they are (or were) children who play the games on beginner and button mash through, so functionally there was never any difference between a game like KH2 and BBS.
Personally, replaying BBS on Critical and fighting some of the super bosses has cemented it as being one of the worst games I've ever played.
But "balanced" is the last word I'd used to describe it.
Aqua and Ven handle so great. But Terra is just ass—he's so stiff, and his dodge is awful. Plus, the command board is soul-crushingly frustrating. If they improved both of these things, it would honestly be a much better game in my opinion.
As for the story, I think the plot involving our trio is fine. However, most of the Disney worlds are weak and forgettable, with barely any good villains or boss monsters.
It's like the developers didn't imagine you'd ever have to move and attack at the same time, then designed an entire boss that forces you to spam dodge for 20 minutes straight.
I didnt even know you could use the dpad for command scrolling.
The d-pad was the only way to do that on the original PSP version since it had no triggers. I assumed it was the same in the HD version.
Give it a rest BBS IS NOT unbalanced, it is one of the most balanced games their is, nearly as balanced as Street Fighter 2 turbo.
KH3 is all over the shop for difficulty starts of hard in the first 3 worlds and then get very easy and one you hit Arendelle. And that is one of the main issues because it starts out so hard it makes the rest of the game just a slog.
Not only that BBS has the best world in any KH game in Deep Space with one of the best ever boss fights. Command Board is a highly innovative and very well thought out system that makes the game deeper. The three main characters are awesome especially Terra. It looks good sounds great, it is well polished and by far one of the best ever action JRPG's made
BBS is NOT bad it is outstanding.
