KH1 - Race against Riku

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone else was struggling for the race against Riku on Destiny Islands?

I did the race before on PS4, so maybe the difference here is just because it's on PC, but no matter how much I try, I can't jump on the rocks leading to the star save point. Sora doesn't seem to be able to jump that far, which is weird since that's OBVIOUSLY possible (I've done it before to win the race).

I'm a bit of a completionist + I like to rub it in Riku's face lol, so I'd just like to know if anyone also had that issue or if it's just that I lack skills on PC (I still use a controller btw). Thanks!

EDIT : It wasn't really about the FPS, I just hadn't realised holding the jump button longer meant a higher jump lol. It's all solved, thanks!

Jump down, go the right side (beach). It's the easiest way.

I mean yeah, the issue isn't really how to be faster or which route is the most efficient, it's more that no matter how hard I try I can't get on the rocks (when you've run on the side and need to jump on the small rocks to reach the star), Sora always falls even when I should get on there, so I'm wondering if it's an issue because the game is on PC (since I can do it on PS4), or if it's really just that I suck lolol

Your framerate might be too high. FPS influences physics so if your FPS is too high your physics get messed up that includes the jumping.

Try capping the game to 60 or 30 FPS and see if that fixes it.

My game was already at 60 so I'll try lowering it to 30 instead! Thanks!
