Dream Shield/Seven Elements not working as intended?

So, I unlocked both weapons, but I'm seeing something rather odd. Dream Shield says it raises MP by 2, and 7E raises it by 3, but when I go to equip the weapons DS only raises MP by 1 and 7E by 2. Did they change the buff but forget to change the descriptions?

This was an oversight caused by having too many versions of the game. Between the first final mix version and the second they nerfed the shields due to a 6mp goofy spamming MP gift being rather broken (laughs at Kurt Ziza and Phantom). Somewhere someone forgot to change the text. Subtract one mp from both of these shields.

If it makes you feel better goofy's special attacks scale with str not mp.

Okay, so it was an oversight. What a shame; Goofy's best skill is by far MP Gift.
