Is there a way to put mods into this game can’t seem to make it work

Most mods I have seen use KHPCPatchManager.[github.com]

1. Download "KHPCPatchManager.exe"
   
2. Double-click the exe and choose the patch (mod) with "Select patch"
   
3. Click "Apply patch" and choose the game's install folder
   
4. Confirm and the patch will apply (takes roughly 20 minutes)

Some use LuaBackend.[github.com]

1. Download LuaBackend and extract the zip contents to the game folder: \steamapps\common\KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-.
   
2. Open the file LuaBackend.TOML with Notepad and replace the line game_docs = "KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX" with game_docs = "My Games/KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX" for each game.
   
3. Open Users\(username)\Documents\My Games\KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX and create a folder called scripts. Then, open the newly created folder and create a subfolder for each game. Name them: kh1, kh2, bbs, recom, kh3d.
   
4. Place any script mods you want into the appropriate folder.
   
5. Launch the game and press F2.

There is also OpenKh Mod Manager[openkh.dev], which supports both kinds of mods. I haven't used it myself, but many people swear by it. The link includes a guide on how to install and use it.
