need help finding good weapons for donald and goofy

So I just got monstro done, did the first part of the Colosseum and now I'm in halloween town.

goofy and donald have the weapons they started the game with.

I don't know where to find good weapons at this part of the game for them.

Go to Traverse Town shop run by the nephews they sell weapons for them. Not the best but they will do for now.

Some weapons are from the Traverse Town shop, some are enemy drops, some have more specific locations and requirements.

Considering Donald's role as a mage, I personally prefer whatever weapon has the biggest +MP stat for him.

the store in traverse town keeps updating at regular intervals. you get one shield from olympus coliseum. that is all i can remember.
