Report a translation problem
The original game's Normal Mode and Expert Mode were replaced by "Final Mix Mode" and "Final Mix: Proud Mode", respectively, and "Final Mix: Beginner Mode" was added as an easier alternative. Both replacement modes are slightly harder than their original counterparts, with Final Mix Mode's only difference being damage dealt and taken by the Gummi Ship, while Proud Mode makes enemies twice as strong compared to the original on top of even more potent changes to the Gummi Ship.
These are the default difficulties going forward, with the "Final Mix" prefix being dropped and "Final Mix Mode" being renamed to Standard Mode.
