Dualshock 4 Remote (PS4) vibration (rumble) not working in kh 2.5 fm [BUG?]
The remote works perfectly fine in 1.5 with vibrations and everything, soon as i booted into 2.5 it still appears to works just fine, but when i hit a wall with keyblade or hit any enemies, take damage, etc. Nothing vibration wise.
The game settings have it enabled, steam controller settings also do as it works fine in 1.5
I'm using "DS4Windows" to connect this thing to my pc over bluetooth just mainly so i was able to check the battery levels bc i couldn't for the life of me tell if this thing was charging or not lol.

Any ideas to fix the KH2.5FM lack of vibration with a dualshock 4 remote?
There is also this really annoying audio thing that happens where when defeating the last heartless of a pack it'll get extremely quiet at times for a second or so. Not as big an issue as the lack of vibration. I want that rumble feedback from being hit or hitting things. Feels wrong not having it.

kh1.5fm is originally a ps2 game, on ps3 console prior to pc.
kh2.5fm is originally a ps3 game, i think still on ps3?
How does the rumble work for the older 1.5 but not the newer 2.5 game?
Confusion.

Within "DS4Windows" app, i did change the remote property from xbox 360 to dualshock 4, this makes no diff for the current 2.5 lack of rumble issue.
I've enlisted the help of both manual google searching and gpt and still nothing useful.
No idea what the reason for this is, but i would love to somehow re-enable the rumble of this remote in kingdom hearts 2.5 final mix. Very much so.

I have not attempted to use the remote wired yet. Will test that now. It hopefully works, but i did want it to be wireless hence the bluetooth currently lol.

Okay that made no changes to the rumble feature.
I did have to disable the audio devices Playback and Recording drivers for the remote bc the game was attempting to set that as default audio output etc which meant i couldn't hear it anymore via my headset and other audio setup.
Beside the point though. The rumble/vibration did not work while wired either.

Uninstall DS4Windows and use Steam's settings. PS4 and PS5 controllers work fine with rumble without changing any settings. As long as they're plugged in.

Sorry that took so long to see, I will try to test that for specifically KH2.5fm.
The rumble works even over here in Birth by Sleep which i've been playing last few days.
With DS4Windows active. I only have it simply to see the Battery % when I update it manually lol.

As long as you're using DS4Windows from Ryochan and not the old versions you should be fine, just remember to use DS4 mode, and make sure that Steam's Controller Support option in the settings is toggled off for all controllers, KH already makes automatic use of it.
Also, you need Passthrough enabled for Gyro, Rumble and Touchpad.

Idk if i do or don't have some of these options enabled or versions of the software installed etc.
All i know is KH1.5fm and KHbbs both work perfectly, but KH2.5fm does not appear to have any rumble feedback, if it does work it's insanely low so I can't tell.

Okay yeah, can confirm this being the case, Rumble does not work for KH2.5FM when wireless or wired while using DS4Windows (still not sure which version i'm using), but without using it, Rumble works just fine as intended.
This is clearly not working simply bc of DS4Windows being active. However in all other games nothing is wrong, only in kh2.5fm does it not work while using DS4Windows.

** And I tested this on non-DS4Windows Wireless via bluetooth and it works. Did not test while wired.
