KH2 Teeny Ship Formation Information and Question

I couldn't find much/any information about what the Teeny Ship formations do or how the EX-Formations work for them. Here's what I've noticed. *Formations in order of Default and changing them using Right Trigger.

Yellow Formation:

The Teeny Ships stick to your sides.
EX-Formation: They move further out to either side.

This formation works best in most circumstances, with the EX-Formation benefiting greatly from wide open areas where enemy ships are coming from the sides of the screen.

Light-Blue Formation:

The Teeny Ships stay closely in front of you.
EX-Formation: They spin in a tight circle in front of you.

This formation works best when you're facing a single strong enemy or when the enemy ships are spawning tightly together in front of you. The EX-Formation adds a bit of AoE to it, extra useful when you have multiple parts you may want to hit on the enemy ship. The formation I use the most after Yellow.

Orange Formation:

The Teeny Ships rotate around you anti-clockwise.
EX-Formation: They move further out, rotate faster, and rotate clockwise.

This formation is best for Teeny Ships that have spread weapons like the Blizzard-G series. Very useful when enemies are coming from all directions. The EX-Formation increasing the distance the circle around you makes it useful when enemies are spawning from the edge of the screen.

Green Formation:

The Teeny Ships follow behind you as you move around the screen.
EX-Formation: They follow at a further distance.

I rarely, if ever, use this formation. It seems to work best when you are trying to move around the screen to dodge enemy fire but want your Teeny Ships to keep hitting in those locations. The EX-Formation gives you a larger effective area that you're attacking at once though. You may get more use out of it depending on how your Teeny Ships are set up.

Red Formation (Berserk Mode Exclusive):

The Teeny Ships auto target enemies and seem to prioritize enemies coming from in front of you.
EX-Formation: I have no clue what this changes about the formation.

This formation is the default Berserk Mode (Medal lv 30) formation. Useful in all lv 1 and lv 2 missions.

Blue Formation (Berserk Mode Exclusive):

The Teeny Ships auto target enemies and seems to be able to target enemies coming from behind you.
EX-Formation: There is no EX-Formation.

This formation is only noticeable in Level 3 Gummi Missions where you have control of the camera. It may be a placebo effect but I noticed far more success in these missions when I hit Berserk Mode and putting the Teeny Ships on this formation.

If anyone has any clarifications on this information, or knows what the hell EX-Formation does for the Red Formation, please share!
