having issues with the entire collection (Intel Iris XE)

before i say anything yes, ik integrated gpu bad, grr!!

regardless, i'm trying to get the game to run at an at least stable 30 fps, my pc runs an 11th gen Intel Core i5 1135g7 and an intel iris xe integrated GPU, no i don't have any other gpu to use, and my pc has 16 gigs of ram

the game runs at 5 to 10 fps, cutscenes stutter and lag endlessly, and the game is nearly unplayable, can somebody please help?

and also yes, i tried turning off vsync and turning the fps cap to 30 or unlimited, both did nothing to fix it

I have the same GPU, but a 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1165G7, i had your problem too when i've updated the GPU driver(Got GPU at 100%, 3-6 FPS even on the launcher). I reverted back to HP Stock driver and the game runs smooth(60 FPS for the most part, i get some FPS drops on ReCom during some scenes). The driver version i'm using is: 30.0.101.2079 (Driver date: 26/05/2022). If you can find this version, you could try. The only problem i have is constant crashing every hour or so and some bugged floor texture sometimes, but the game runs perfectly.

If you're using an integrated GPU then I'm afraid there's not really that much you can do. If upgrading to a better PC is outside your budget range perhaps consider investing in a Steam Deck? because these games work fine on that.

How would i downgrade my gpu to stock driver? i don't know much abt this stuff

i decided to just refund the game and emulate/play them on og hardware (i have a ds and 2ds xl, and a switch for kh3)

i very much appreciate the help, thank you for trying to help, but i'd rather just wait until i have a better pc

Aww man I'm sorry you're not able to play now. I know the feeling I too had a poor PC when I originally joined Steam in 2007 and when I upgraded it felt so good. I hope you can upgrade too.

ive had a poor pc my entire life, if anything this pc is the closest to a good one that i have, i refunded the game and im getting my money back
