I found this. I prefer just seeing someone do stuff then learning via observation.

Discard any ability that modifies your hits (e.g. Explosion) and any ability that grants additional hits to a combo.
Now you put on the sword of Sephiroth, i.e. Fenrir, you can now only perform a finisher when hitting.
Now you start a fight and always do the same thing: jump - hit - jump - hit - etc... .
A finisher causes bosses to stagger for a brief moment and you only make finishing attacks. Since the time between 2 attacks is so extremely short, the stagger is triggered again and again and they cannot defend themselves.
This makes most bosses extremely easy.
I've seen YouTubers mention using this for the fight with the Lingering Will, but I didn't know it was that effective on other bosses too. Will keep that in mind!
This doesn't work with every boss, but with Marluxia, for example, this tactic definitely works.
