Is there a fix for unusable mouse?
I was trying to play KH1 and my mouse just randomly turns into a windows cursor and no longer registers game inputs. I found a way to get the inputs to register again but then it just breaks after using it for another 5 seconds. Is there any solution to stop this from happening? Spent my whole time trying to fix it until having to refund before hitting 2hr limit. Would like to repurchase if there's a fix

The solution is to simply buy a controller. This game was not designed to be played with KB&M.

I would love to offer you an actual suggestion, but this is a new problem I have yet to hear before this. Even controllers arent perfect though, as ive had a few funny issues with mine.

I found a fix. It seems to work with me. https://steamcommunity.com/app/2552430/discussions/0/6364229748853344445/ For anyone who doesn't know how to do this in future posts, click on the windows button at the bottom right corner for windows (10 and 11) then type "on-" and one of the suggestions should be "On-Screen Keyboard", click that and a keyboard will appear that you use your mouse to interact with. To the right side of it will be the screen lock button (ScrLk for anyone who doesn't know) click that then get back to gaming. Hope this helps. And you can close the keyboard and it still applies the screen lock.

I find that enabling ScrLk and setting the display to full screen in the settings works pretty well for me
