KH1 Final Mix stuck infinite loading

I bought the game today and tried to launch KH1 Final Mix from the menu. When I do, it gets stuck with the gold heart constantly spinning. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, verifying files, updating drivers, running in compatibility mode, running as admin, putting the in-game settings to 30 FPS and turning off linked refresh rate, etc... The other games seem to boot just fine.

Hardware below:
GPU: GTX 1070
CPU: Intel i7 6700K
RAM: 16GB

I know I have more than enough to run the game, but I've been trying to get it to work for over an hour. Genuinely losing my mind here

UPDATE: Okay, so I actually managed to fix this somehow. I went into the files again and set Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 Launcher and Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 ReMIX to run as admin. For some reason, that seems to have fixed the problem. Leaving this here in case someone else has this problem.

Thank you for the update. I was playing Birth by Sleep first and in the tutorial area it went to an infinite loading screen, so I'm going to try this fix out and see if it works.

THANK YOU! Well..unfortunately, I had also already spent over an hour uninstalling and reinstalling etc, but without this post, I might still be troubleshooting this.

Thank you very much! I was having the same issue, then set all exe files in the folder to run as admin. It worked!!!
