It took them years to update game breaking performance bugs for Nier Automata, and that game was completely new on release.
They still have broken FF ports on PC, so them updating anything will either never happen or will take a while
This is by far not the only game their crappy cards have issues with, so why put the problem onto SE and not AMD?
You want to solve the problem? Stop buying crappy AMD cards and go with the much better Nvida. I dont care about your reasons you choose AMD over Nvidia as well, if you wanna play this game bad enough, you will get proper/better hardware.
I can only say, the issue is on the user level, if you buy this title while owning AMD products. Its a huge risk.
As a personal note, in over 400 hours of gameplay so far, I have had ONE single crash. Which was in KH3 not even KH 1 or 2.
7900 XTX, first AMD card since the Radeon VE, been Team Green forever. I have yet to have issues like this with ANY other game. When I ask, people say Helldivers 2, but those crashes weren't driver specific either. What examples do you have?
Problem with this logic is that newer RTX cards are having this issue too. RIP I guess, unless you feel like playing on a GTX card.
This part discounts everything else you said. If it's on the user level, that would mean neither SE or AMD would need to fix anything. Hard to take you seriously now.
"Yeah bro this works fine for me, just do what I did!" or "It works for me!" is what this statement is giving.
Dude I'm super happy for you that it's working for you, but blaming people for their choice in hardware is not only stupid, it's foolhardy. It works for you now. Let's see in a few years when you decide to upgrade your GPU and you feel like playing again. Whoops, it doesn't work even on Team Green.
Get a load of this guy.
AMD is not responsible for game developers not testing their games.
On top of that, SE is notorious for not fixing and supporting their games.
Also, as a 7900 XTX user, i haven't encountered any other issues whatsoever.
It's perfectly fine to have preferences, but your blatant fanboyism isn't helping anyone.
The only reason im even responding to this, is to point out how insane this actually is.
If I do something, by choice, the blame lies with me. I do not have the right to put that fault onto someone else, that had nothing to do with my decision.
I dont even know what world you live in, to think this is slightly okay to blame others for YOUR CHOICES.
Yes, it works for me, hence the comment "As a personal note".
Not so much fanboyism, as more sick of hearing the whine of AMD owners. Like... whyd you get that card? Serious question. Why get the AMD over Nvidia? What does it do, what does it offer?
Oh, right, 90% of the people complaining, dont even know the difference between the two.
The even bigger question, WHY did people with an AMD even buy this, knowing it wouldnt work? So they had a reason to complain?
Disregard the above, this didnt come out the way I was intending it to, and makes me seem a bit more of a jerk than I meant to be.
That's why i got an AMD card, and i'm pretty darn happy with it.
Satisfied, or do you want to continue behaving like a ♥♥♥♥?
Let me put it into another analogy for you, that might make more sense.
Crazy guy, does the whole "Swim with the Sharks" thing. One day, Guy gets eaten by said sharks. Who should we blame? The sharks? Guy?
I might be a prick for pointing out that its entirely Guy's fault, but that doesnt change the fact its Guy's fault.
Same concept here. If people dont do research before investing into a 600+ purchase, I wont feel bad, just like the guy that didnt check to see if the sharks that day were being aggressive.
Again, it's perfectly fine to have your preferences, but you're desperately trying to create issues where there are none to justify your hateboner, which is embarrassingly childish...
But anyways, welcome to the ignore pile, have fun being a jerk to others.
What issues am I creating exactly? Anything that costs 600+, should be researched if im being honest. That isnt an impulse buy price for most people.
As for that hateboner thing? I dont actually care about AMD, as ive never used their products. I just found it amusing to toss in a few digs at AMD users for fun. I didnt expect them to actually get insulted over something like that though.
The actual issue, is the one you are taking with what ive said. You dont agree with it, thats fine, but I dont see what the point of you responding to me in the first place was.
They fixed the Steam version because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they created when they put a improved version of Nier Automata on the Microsoft Store. 😆
