It was crashing frequently for me until I changed an Nvidia setting for the game. After I changed the setting I played for several hours and had no crashes.
1. Open Nvidia Control Panel
2. Under 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings
3. Select Kingdom Hearts as the program to customize (there may be multiple, one for each game).
4. For the preferred graphics processor select "High-performance Nvidia processor"
5. Click apply
From what I understand this forces the program to use the Nvidia GPU and not the integrated graphics. Let me know if this works for anyone else.
Not sure if there is something similar for AMD
I did this, I still got a crash after a little while.
No, this sounds about right, considering my techie friend told me the game has a memory leak. With a number of people saying there's an issue it sounds like it's on the fault of the game. None of my other games have this problem, I did a check of my hardware, and it's fine.
Idk if a cracked version works better, but I am curious if there's a way to make this version run better. Otherwise, I'm a bit frustrated with the constant saving. Still, it isn't going to stop my enjoyment, although it is definitely going to make a game like Chain of Memories a ♥♥♥♥♥ to beat.
