Alt+Tabing out of Fullscreen changes resolution settings

I've been having an annoying bug where every time I use alt+Tab with any KH game or the launcher in fullscreen 1080p, it switches to windowed 1600x900, making me have to go to game settings and change both the window mode and resolution back to normal.

Would use borderless window mode, but that mode consistently fails to properly constrain my cursor, resulting in randomly switching to/launching other applications from my taskbar in the middle of combat, then only having ~100 degrees or rotational freedom with the camera/no way to turn fully around without auto-camera when I get focus back on the game (basically cursor may be invisible, but when it reaches the edge of the screen, the camera just stops rotating that direction)

do the settings actually change? I have this same bug but the settings still say they're fullscreen with full resolution. If I hit the maximize button it goes back to normal.

Yes. I can vouch for this. It happens to me too. It also ♥♥♥♥♥ with antialiasing.

if fullscreen I just use dsr and redo the settings each time, takes few seconds, kind of annoying, but yep...
