Thought it'd be interesting to share how many of each we killed by the time it dropped.

Wizards: 580

Defenders: 902

During all that time of farming for it, I ended up hitting max level. Curse my desire to be a completionist. I knew I'd never use those weapons to begin with.

Yeah, I've done the grind legit for both games so many times now that I don't feel bad about editing in some extra lucky strikes (and lucky rings for KH2). And honestly, it's kinda fun having insane drop rates instead of just giving yourself the items. I definitely don't blame anyone for doing that though

I can't seem to get the save editor to recognise my save game on Steam. Any suggestions?

Assuming you are using the latest Kingdom Save Editor, you need to navigate to your save file located at "X:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX\Steam\76561198094597628". The saves for these games are stored within a PNG file. For KHFM it should be called "KHFM_WW". Open that file with the editor and select the save slot you want to edit.

I got a Nobody Lance on the very first Dragoon I killed, which shocked the crap out of me. But so far my 2.5 run hasn't had too crazy of luck otherwise. I'm stuck actually, at the Luxord fight. Idk because I've never had an issue with it in the past, the only fight I ever got stuck on before was Xigbar my first time playing.

Is the drop rate bugged? I don't remember taking so long to farm Defender shield on Kingdom Hearts before...I've literally killed 1004 and still no sign of the shield T . T

i got 2 wizard relic back to back at 769 kills
no defender yet at 647 kills, i farming at hollow bastion before dragon maleficent

Update: drop after 878 defender kills finally

Finally got around to doing the farm myself. People will be displeased to know that I got Defender in around 14 kills this time. Litterally on the first group of three in the Third District after I returned to Traverse Town to start the endgame synth-farming.

At least the Wizard's Relic took me 390-ish. Lots of them tucked away into the back alley in Traverse town.

I got lucky with the Wizards with it being around ~280, but the Defender took me ~880... Then the 3rd to last enemy I killed with a mindless grind to 100 dropped another Defender. It wasn't the worst drop rate in a game, but it was boring and a bit tedious and I wish I had gotten Encounter Plus sooner before farming, I had forgotten to get it. lol

Just finished my Proud playthrough, and have gotten the luckiest I've ever been in the 15 or so years I've spent playing this game.

Defender dropped in just 11 kills - one of the ones summoned by Maleficent dropped it mid-fight and I gunned right for it. Wizard's Relic took 86 before it dropped, but that's still way less than I'm used to.

Grind to level 100 in the gizmo shop and you'll get a few in no time.

Funny enough, I had to grind quite a bit past 100 to get the Defender.

Also you want to grind in the Hotel. There's only Wizards and Defenders in the main hallway.
