Runs like butter.
This game is a perfect port. I'm running it at ease with high fps. Having a great time playing it for the first time in 14-16 years. Also, shut off your vsync and max fps to have it run better. I feel like you guys are experiencing issues because of this.

Update: Still no crashes, I see you guys are very salty in here and didn't mean to spark drama. Try upgrading your pcs. For me this port has been absolutely perfect.. I do feel sorry for those experiencing crashes.

it doesn't and it's the worst port of 2024 so far

"disable vsync and turn down your fps" -> "make the game look ass on high refresh rate monitors just to play it" horrible excuse lmao

Calling it the worst port of 2024 seems a bit dramatic. The issues only appear to be affecting a small minority of players not the masses. As the OP stated, I've had zero issues as well. Meanwhile other recent releases like Forspoken and Dead Space remake crashed my Deck left and right. Compared to more demanding ports this one plays beautifully for me.

I had so many problems with the Epic port, and the steam version has worked great the entire time. I don't think it's really a perfect port, it definitely feels a little off compared to the PS4 version, but at least it works well enough that it doesn't interfere with the gameplay. Totally fair for people having constant crashes to not be happy though, I'm just thankful it works for me.

It crashes often on both KH1 and KH2 for me. KH2 also has a variety of silly problems, like not being able to alt tab without it automatically changing to windowed mode (pretty annoying to reset it to full screen every time), or allowing your computer to go into sleep mode while the game is running (funny because there are cutscenes long enough to do this during the Roxas section).

so many of those "issues" are like nothing or trying to force a ps2 game to run how it wasnt even designed with.

PS3 you mean. This is a re-re-release of the PS3 1.5 and 2.5 collection.

Lol people calling it a PS2 port, it's not, read the room. Thanks.

I wish it would run like butter for me too but it runs more like honey, still runs but very sticky.

Perfect for me. Just how it is for PC games; everyones hardware, OS and drivers are different, so it'll never run perfect for everyone.

Game runs great, I'm just one of those souls forced to wait until my 7900 xtx stops crashing at the Destiny Islands logo cutscene

I'm assuming you call 60fps "high"?

what about using win 7 or 8 ppl say it can fix the problems like if u go into properties and run in w 7 or 8 has anyone tried it ?

Yeah it does run like butter. in 22 hours I've only had 2 crashes. 1440p, constant 165 FPS, everything set to max.

Can confirm it absolutely runs like butter, I booted it up went from Alice in wonderland to traverse town through the gummi ship everything ran perfectly.

And upon saving my gpu driver crashed so hard I had to hard reboot the pc and upon rebooting my gpu driver was now corrupted, my main monitor refused to boot, and trying to reinstall amd drivers resulted them in telling me my gpu was non functional.

Booted into linux to be sure my gpu was actually functional, and then had to proceed to use the amd driver cleanup utility and finally reinstalling clean drivers got it functional again...

That's a pretty fair price to pay for 12 minutes of gameplay.... ran perfectly before I did the great mistake of trying to save... but I can see how that one was on me I shouldn't have attempted to do that.

There's tons of issues beyond just crashing. If only you'd actually look at the post.
