Crash fixed ?

[Dota 2 sucks]

So i have played 3 houers now and only time i crashed was when i quit a building and pause direct after.. playing 1440p and 60fps with refresh on otherwise it will stutter alot but it does feel kinda choppy but less now

ahh before i couldnt even play the game crashed after like 5 min now i played for 3 houers straight and only crashed when i quit a building and paused so idk playing on amd hope they will patch this game more tho due to it is verry bad optimized for pc

Glad the patch seemed to help you, so far I haven't had a problem with mine, but yea there improvements that can be had.

true lets see how it be in the other areas seems the big problem was destiny island

Tried playing after the patch just now and it went from a crash after around 2min on 1440p on 144fps borderless windowed to a crash after 12min with the same settings for me.
Might try to finish Destiny Island as fast as possible if the other worlds are not as crash prone.

Been trying every workaround under the sun since yesterday to see what works and there have been so many things I tried. And every crash message I get is different which doesn't make it easier.

i played in windowed mode on destiny island 720p if i remember correctly and had refresh off and played at 60fps but yeah finnish it fast as posible

That's pretty much how I'm playing it now. It crashes way less with 720p and window mode. And I think I just found the reason why it crashes on Destiny Island:
I went to pick up the drinking water from the waterfall and as soon as I looked at it the drivers crashed. Thinking back every time I looked into the general direction it did crash the game. Which is wild and interesting.

Doesn't look like it... I just got a crash when opening a save point after spending like 40 minutes doing stuff in winnie the pooh's book .... -_- Super frustrating, just when I was about to save, it crashed.

So far I got 3 crashes since I started the game, two were when opening the pause menu, and this one this morning when opening the save menu.

The crashes when opening the menu happened to me as well but fairly rarely.
Overall I had like 40 crashes in 4.7h playtime according to Steam. Something is properly borked and trying to fix it on my side only made me mad. Gonna wait for fixes for now.

The game crashed now after a gummiship mission gg gues the game is not fixed at al :'(

I too am crashing when I open the menu and it's happened now in the first town twice. But I think I'm seeing a pattern. The menu behaves just fine as long as I don't try to alt tab or switch windows to read a guide or such. The crash seems to happen after I switch back to the game and then try to open the menu.

I'll test further by using my laptop to view the guide so I don't have to alt tab.

I saw someone say it was crashing until they put it at 30 fps because it's an old game and same with the second one, then 60 fps on the 3rd game. No idea if it works myself because I haven't played yet was just sharing what I read.

The 30fps "fix" only works for some people unfortunately. There are other workarounds like going 720p, disabling VSync, playing in windowed mode and many others.
They work for some people but others are unlucky and no workaround works for them (I'm part of the unlucky ones, tried everything that is shown online but no luck)

i tried emailing them to fix the game crushing but no where will expect the email and steam saying its not their problem so any suggesting would be great
