Prove that it was the publishers that decided to not take the exclusive deal, rather than Epic deciding to not offer the deals. Also, the exclusive deals were about the upfront money Epic paid, not about the 88%. Also 88% of some number above 0, which is what Epic would get, is still more money on those sales compared to if those sales happened on Steam.

Tim Swine was constantly boasting about their revenue split and all you Epic shills were too. As for why they've been taking on less major exclusives, it's probably got a lot to do with poor sales (because spoiler alert: everyone uses the Epic Fail store for free games or fartnite). I honestly don't care about the exact reasons. All that matters is that their agressive acquisition of paid exclusives has failed

lol, everyone only uses EGS for free games and for Fortnite, yet these same gamers have spent ~$1.2 Billion on third party games on EGS? How does that work?

Fun fact, Steam has the biggest amount of trash games of these stores, and allows more trash games onto their store per year than any other store does. Heck, the worse games on EGS are still massively better than the worse games on Steam.

Well we can agree on that but it's not like it's a big secret. Still, the best games are on Steam for good reason

My god, 19 hours and it can't be pre ordered.

Square Enix is playing at the limit!

Taking a look at the Steam page it's been out for about 2 years actually

Kinda give me a bad feeling of what the launch price is goona be. Still, I'm not buying unless the price is real good (50% off or more of their original price) AND it's got Steam Deck support.

If those don't happen then screw em, it's not like I haven't already played these games a few times over the years anyways.

You mean just like how Kingdom Hearts has been out on the PC for 3 years?

If they're smart they'll do 50% off. We've waited 3 years. What's another couple of months for the next big sale?

If Valve will allow it, considering the rule says no more than 40% off for Steam launch discount, it should be at least 60% off since that was the highest discounted rate on Epic.

Hmm, I don't see Elden Ring on EGS, so that means it's not released to the PC.
