Important New Players: Order of Games Is Wrong
There is an error in the game list, but you play 358/2 Days AFTER KH2, and not before. This was the original release order.

In terms of the timeline, 358 is before KH2, but you should always go in release order and not timeline order so you dont have more information than originally expected.

Everything else is correct.

(and if you truly wanted timeline order, you'd start with the mobile games, and no one would recommend that lol)

they did that order because 358/2 days was the 3rd title in 1.5, of course I'd still recommend experiencing it AFTER KH2

Yeah, it made some sense originally since 1.5 and 2.5 were separate collections. But having it listed before 2 instead of after probably should have been fixed when they were combined.

There's a thing you need to keep in mind if you play 358/2 Days after KH2 and Re:Chain of Memories: there are special treasure rooms in Re:Chain of Memories that gives you, mostly, special cards and enemy cards. If you don't play 358/2 Days before Re:Chain of Memories, you'll get the expected treasures of those rooms. BUT if you actually play 358/2 Days before Re:Chain of Memories, you'll get special rewards on those treasure rooms, like Keyblade cards that represents the keychains used by Roxas in the original Nintendo DS game.

What I did, and others can do is leave 358/2 Days playing in the background as they go do something else.

Its just a movie, and if you really want those unlockables without spoiling yourself, then leaving it to complete itself is a smart move.

Yeah, that is a really good idea. But for those who wanna do that, keep in mind that it is a 3'5 hours long movie. So... you'll better be doing something fun out of your PC to make good use of that time.

If you really want to do that then yeah, just leave it playing and go do something else.

Come back later and when its done, it'll count as you having seen it. Without you being there to spoil the whole thing early.

no its not, just play the games.

You don't have to leave 358/2 running, you could also just skip through all the cutscenes and it counts but I guess you'd probably see spoilers by doing so.

Good to know for those who've already played before and want to just skip over it just to get the cards early.
