There better be a MASSIVE discount on launch.
There's no excuse. We should not have had to wait this long. I was honestly resigned to the epic exclusivity being permanent by the time they announced the Steam release.

I mean, I could've played the Switch version, but wait! The Switch version was crap! They didn't even try, just shat out a bunch of cloud games and called it a day! It's like they were actively trying to stop me from playing these games!

Whew, sorry about that, I've had that bottled up for... how long has it been?

3, maybe 4 years?

Anyway, I'm definitely not paying full price for these, not after one of the worst epic exclusivity periods we've ever had to sit through.

It's been exactly 3 years, 1 month and 20 days since they were released on Epic until they were announced for Steam yesterday.

The longest exclusivity on Epic, and let's hope the last we see of this kind.

Possibly not imo, since they added a rerecorded song plus hd textures for all titles they still want to be paid for that amount work

Massive discount for SQ is 30% off max. FFVIIR Intergrade had 29% off at launch.

I wish that title had more of discount during steam sale so I could buy it lol

The FF's traditionally go on 50% sale at best, except the newer games dipping a bit lower.
Even on epic this collection hasn't seen a great discount like what you're expecting, and considering this is a cash grab after record layoffs by SqEnix i would prepare to be disappointed by the launch price.

Epic had massive discounts if you include the coupons

But I wouldnt expect such savings here, that is the price we must pay to own it on a better platform.

The integrum masterpiece bundle should be around $90 for all 3. Just by looking at switch's integrum bundle, it was $90. So I'm waiting for release date for them to release the bundle.

Since it's Square Enix i highly doubt that there will be any kind of discount sadly. Probably they will sell it for 80 bucks again like Final Fantasy 7. Lmao.

I'd be surprised if there's much of a discount here. I'm sure they know they don't have to and they'll still sell a ton.

That said I'd bet on a launch discount of 10%+, that seems pretty standard these days. Probably more if you buy the all-in bundle, whatever they're calling it.

Sadly... KH Melody of Memory isn't announced on Steam, so.... the Exclusivity stills...

I definitely won't be picking it up unless there's a significant discount to its normal price.
Ain't paying that sort of money for a re-release of a port of a re-release of a remake of a re-release of a PS2 game.

Bro. It's a store. Grow up. You shop on different stores all the time. Being a baby about a specific kind of store is ridiculous. Buy where you please, but throwing a fit because a store wasn't stocking your desired product (when you could have just gone to the other store to buy it) is beyond childish. There are far more important things to generate so much cortisol over, but store stock is not one of these things.

I bought all three, including the rhythm game, on Epic, for $61.61. -$138 was from sales discount, while -$30.35 was from coupons.

I doubt I'll see discount like that on Steam any time soon, if ever, though. But they were getting 60% off regularly during sales on Epic.
