AMD 7000XT/XTX series of cards Driver Timeout Error

In the PC version of this game if you gave an 7000 series open the game will not open or anything you do in the game will cause a driver timeout. I heard about it. I don't own the game. And I'm wondering if this will be fixed in the steam version.

Bringing this up again. Seems the game was updated on Epic Game Store with the same stuff Steam is getting. Heard apparently AMD 7XXX gpus are now able to play. But does anyone want to test? Anyone with this AMD gpus and own the game on EGS confirm?

Oh they certainly are not. I headed into my most hated location for this bug after every patch or driver update there was (it's Cid's accessory shop with the save point btw.), because saving or pausing is a 75/25 gamble I always lose. Let's just say, it still is.

Epic Games Store Version got an update today. I played a bit of KH 1.5 and experienced no crashes/Driver Timeouts or issues when changing settings. Hopefully Steam version gets these fixes ASAP.

Make sure your chipset drivers are also up to date if you have an AMD CPU.

There is a pinned thread by one of the developers acknowledging the issue on 7900XT and 7800XT, so hopefully it is going to be fixed eventually.

7900XTX user here, I have crashed in Destiny Islands twice.

Yep. 7900 XT and it keeps crashing about every 3 to 5 minutes from my save file on Destiny Island in KH1.

AMD RX 7900 XTX here and crashes still happening. Cant get out of Destiny Island.

ALL RDNA3 graphics cards don't work and it's been a problem on the EGS port for years!
