Buy a relatively cheap car, (own car benefits in the end over rentals), avoid damage, race with 6+ people, or with AI (the more opponents there are, the more money and xp you get). Race a lot, every race is on the whole a benefit, unless you're using an expensive loaner or get lots of damage.

Slap on some sponsors (small bonus, but eventually piles up) or join a racenet club with a premade livery, to not spend money on one

Also, Challenges. Racenet Challenges are a huge money maker. First you get money for racing with 11 AI + bonuses for medals, then at the end you also get money for position on leaderboards.

Read or browse through this excellent guide written by LPChip. If you want to make money fast always do the Racenet Challenges and grab the medals one by one. I mean first attempt get a result that is good enough only for bronze, then do it again for silver, gold and platinum. Aside money that's where you get most XP per race in the entire game.

Stay somewhere near the roads with a shield in your hands with a text written on:

I HAVE GOOD DRUGS :)

everyone will stop by and pay for it :) so , that's the best way to earn money in Multiplayer!

:))) of course playing and winning , doing good results on the challenges to get nice rewards each week.

Don't buy used cars. Not worth it in a long run.

Create a lobby, set the AI to Hard/Very hard and wait for clean drivers to join you.

Ban the idiots with yellow, orange or red impact rating and try to win races against your new friends the clean racers, and the AI.

The more difficult is the AI, more you get extra money you get at the end.

Very Hard AI is often not worth it, as its bonus is only 16%, which is negated if you drop down just two places in the standings. At Medium, an average player will be able to get first places much more consistently.

Yellow impact rating doesn't mean a dirty racer, as it can drop from white to yellow in just a couple of races with the wrong people (or the AI). In addition, any new people will have yellow too, even if they're clean, as that's where the rating starts for new accounts.

I didn't knew about the bonus, when I'm with friends we set AI on Very hard 90% of the time. I'll try with Medium/Hard to see if it's better.

I know about the new players and the yellow rating, but when I race with yellow guys who are lvl 100 and above, I'm always getting pwnd and pushed out of the track by them. D:

That's why I avoid them at all cost.

I'm just saying if you're not careful and join a lobby with pushers and rammers, you may see your rating go down to yellow even if you try to avoid contact, because of the way the game determines contact. So if there are one-two "yellow" players, I usually don't mind them as I know how easy it is to lose it
