Custom race: any car type on any track?

For example, I want to race open-wheelers on Mount Panorama, something which is not normally done on that track. Can I race with any type of car on any track when making a custom race or am I restricted to only using certain cars on certain tracks?

Yes, with a few exceptions - you can't take a drift specific car into a non drift event for example :)

Looking at the track listing on the CM blog[blog.codemasters.com] it shows Mount Panorama as "Motor Racing Circuit" only.

Going by the car list on the CM blog[blog.codemasters.com], what are the types of cars from that list that I can race on the Mount Panorama circuit?

I hope it's not just the touring cars. Can I race the endurance/open wheel/street cars as well?

Also can you tell us what date this month the game will be released?

The game will start unlocking on June 24th, pre-load approx a week or so before.
