Would Codemasters please either temporarily relist these two free DLC on Steam or automatically grant these two free DLC to owners of the game?

I bought the season pass couple of days before the game was removed. not knowing that the high res patch wasn´t included.

I just recently bought the game for $1, I have installed these two DLC (on June 20th) have you looked in the DLC area of the game? (rather than the store)

You sadly have to find someone with the files of the free DLC's. Grid 2 was also the same with demoliton derby DLC and they never put it back. although i'm not 100% sure if simply copying over the files work though

and keys don't exist for the free dlc's.

Licenses were expired & codies don't care about their old games. Don't expect it, they never did it for grid 2 demolition derby dlc, they won't do it for this too

It may be illegal for them to make money out of the license. But the DLC's are free, so they already legally should belong to those who paid for the game.

Even if the DLC's are free, the DLC banners have licensed stuff in it, i dont think they're allowed to advertise anything on a store that isn't their property (logos, licensed cars, etc etc etc) When it comes to licenses, it doesn't matter if it's free or not, once it's expired, you gotta renew it, or take it off the stores

Sure, they could've added the dlc's into the game updates, but they've probably had a reason not to do. The texture pack is like 4gb size, the demo dlc isn''t too big though. The game itself is 9gb, it would be a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to force everyone to download an additional 4gb for textures their pc might not render too well, or have a slow internet.

Judging by the depot site, i'm 99% sure you can find someone who has uploaded the free DLC files (in the future) and copy them over to the game directory. The only issue is you can't get the dlc's from steam anymore

grid autosport is more recent on switch, and prolly has licensed tied to the switch version only. They don't delist games for no reason. Literally everytime codies delist something, they always put it on humble, and it's delisted a month later. PS3 version is also delisted + dlcs. 99% of the "AAA" titles delistings are due to licensing or a remastered version. as for warnings, i doubt they really care too much, it sucks, but that's what codies are, they do the same for online services too.

You don't. I just linked it because judging by the looks of the files, you could simply just copy them over and you'd get the dlc's, but i cannot confirm if it works. Ask around if someone can share you the files of the files named in the depot link

I have the dlc required but it’s not installed in my system, I don’t know how to extract the files tho
